The Tashkent Files, a film about India's second Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri's life and mysterious death, was released in 2019. He is confronted with reality. He also meets terrorist Farooq Malik Bitta (Chinmay Mandlekar), who, together with his family, is responsible for the destruction of Kashmir. Krishna, who screams slogans in the Vishwavidyalaya to separate Kashmir from the country, learns the truth there and the curtains are pulled from his eyes.

Vivek Agnihotri has attempted to include anti-Kashmir propaganda in his film, but has been quiet about it. While his focus in the Tashkent Files was on the politics surrounding former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri's untimely death, he focuses more in the Kashmir Files on the violent developments there and the conspiratorial thinking that led to Kashmir's separation from India.

The film 'The Kashmir Files' is also worth seeing because of its outstanding cast. Anupam Kher appears in full color for the first time in a long time. He erupts like a river of pain whenever he appears on film, carrying the audience along with him. His performance in the picture is so good that the National Film Award for the next year will almost certainly be named after him. Darshan Kumar has done an excellent job at bridging the gap between the past and the present. It's worth observing his campus talks and facial expressions throughout this time. Another important link in the film is Chinmoy Mandlekar's performance.

Technically, the film may not be very amazing, but Uday Singh Mohile has managed to let the pain of the film slowly leak out with the help of his camera. The film's duration is its weakest link. Its effect can be further enhanced by reducing the duration of the film. The film's music draws inspiration from the folk of Kashmir and Vivek has worked hard to explain it to the Hindi speaking audience. The music of the film, however, is weak for a mainstream film.
