Vickida No Varghodo - વિકીડા નો વરઘોડો
From the name 'Wikida's Groom', it is known that it is about the marriage of Wikida. Showcasing candid school days, immature college days and then the confusion of arranged marriages, the star cast of the film will manage to drag the audience to the theaters, but will fail to hold them.
Filmaker Sharad Patel states: "I'm pleased that our picture is set to amuse spectators in an unusual way. However, prior to the film's release, the trailer generated a lot of interest and created quite a stir on social media. I'm overjoyed with the reception to the trailer, which has made history by generating over 5 million views in 24 hours, shattering all previous records in the Gujarati film business."
Vicky (Malhar Thakar), son of the Gathia King of Bhavnagar, is a follower of Bajrangbali, and approaching ladies is a sin on his list. However, while studying in the scientific stream, he falls in love with Radhika (Jinal Belani), the daughter of a new collector at the school. However, for some reason, the open love of the school stays unsatisfied. Vicky later falls in love with Vidya (Mansi Rachch) while attending college in Ahmedabad to study architecture. He risks his job to earn the affection of the college, but Vicky fails in love again again. Finally, mum and dad persuade Anushree, a beautiful and clever girl, to plan a marriage (Monal Gajjar). However, three days before the wedding, both the girlfriend and the prospective bride get together, causing a commotion. It'll be interesting to watch who Vicki's fiance eventually marries.

The difference in performance between a 16-year-old school-going Vikida and a 26-year-old mature architect is negligible. Malhar Thakar portrays a young man from Bhavnagar. However, Ahmedabadi Malhar sprinkles him throughout the film. Jinal Belani has won everyone's hearts as a schoolgirl with a wonderfully adorable grin and cheek dimples. In the part of a college girl, Mansi Rachch exudes coolness. Her cool and easygoing attitude has gotten her a lot of attention. Monal Gajjar looks stunning in a traditional wedding gown.
Rahul Bhole and Vinit Kanojia wrote and directed 'Wikidano Varghodo.' More may be expected from the successful writer-director team behind 'Reva.' The film's setting and cinematography are both excellent. Dialogues would be more enjoyable to listen to if Gujarati accents were more distinct. This film's screenplay is predictable. There is also a lack of consistency throughout the film, whether it is the hero's style or the heroine's mehndi or, why not, the office scene.

If you are a Malhaar fan, you should absolutely see this film. It's fine if you wait for the remainder to appear on OTT. Sonu Nigam's 'Udi Re' and Kairvi Buch's 'Kanha Re' for Aishwarya Mazumdar are both worth hearing again. While Altaf Raja's 'Draksh Khati Hai' is a lighthearted tune.
The film's plot may have been trimmed a little. Especially Vicky and Radhika's high school romance. However, whether it is a college or a school, the mood has been established really beautifully.
